1. Use line types (horizontal, vertical, diagonal) to draw basic shapes (geometric, organic, free form) of subject matter (dreams, national birds, plants) for folk paintings

2. Use ruler, protractor, or compass to divide subject matter (dreams, national birds, plants) into sections for folk paintings
