Lesson One
Day One Art Lesson
1. Discuss Difference between Warm Objects (Sun, Flames, Summer) and Cool Objects (Moon, Snow, Winter)
2. Read "Emily's Blue Period" by Cathleen Day
3. Picture Book "Blockhead The Life of Fibonacci" by Joseph D'Agnese
- Find Hidden Spirals & Number Sequences in Nature
Lesson Activities:
1. Choose One Organic Shape (Bird, Waves, Violin) that represents happy or sad in ones own life
2. Draw Organic Shape in Center of drawing paper

- Initials & Home Teacher on Back of Paper
Day Two, Art Start
1. Retrieve Warm & Cool Picasso Drawing for Assigned Table
2. Find Ruler, Pencil, Eraser, & Oil Pastels
3. Set Up Studio Space (Drawing Paper, Materials)
Lesson Activities:
1. Use Ruler to draw Five Intersecting Lines from Center onto Drawing Paper
2. Use Warm/Cool Colors to fill in the Happy (Warm) or Sad (Cool) Organic Shape
3. Use Baby Wipe to Blend Colors Together

Day Three, Art Start
1. Retrieve Warm & Cool Picasso Drawing for Assigned Table
2. Find Pencil, Eraser, Oil Pastels, & Wipes
3. Set Up Studio Space (Drawing Paper, Materials)
Lesson Activities:
1. Finish using Oil Pastel to color background opposite Warm/Cool Colors to Organic Shape
2. Use Baby Wipes to blend background colors together
3. LAST 10-15 minutes- Add or Make Any Additional Changes
