Lesson One
Day One, Art Start
1. Famous Works Discussion "Frank Stella: A Retrospective" by Whitney Museum & Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth
2. Discussion Questions: "Do you know what these paintings about about? What do you feel? Why does this work make you feel this way? Can you put a concept, story, or meaning that is personal to you in this work? How does this relate to the elements of art within your own life?"
Lesson Activities:
1. Use Three Compositional Elements (Shape, Color, Texture) to represent a memory, place, or event
2. Use French Curves as a Design Principle (composition, arrangement, variation) within ones Fantasy Design

Day Two, Art Start
1. Retrieve Fantasy Design for Assigned Table
2. Retrieve French Curves, Protractors, & Texture Plates
Lesson Activities:
1. Use French Curves, Protractors, & Texture Plates to add symmetrical shapes, expressive lines, and beautiful patterns
2. Use Multicolored Sharpies & Fine Tip Markers to exaggerate designs with bright colors
Day Three, Art Start
1. Retrieve Fantasy Design for Assigned Table
2. Set Up Studio Area (scissors, glue guns, tagboard, pencil)
Lesson Activities:
1. Finish using Multicolored Sharpies & Fine Tip Markers to exaggerate designs with bright colors
2. Use Scissors to cutout their two-dimensional Fantasy Design to create a three-dimensional paper sculpture
3. Glue Down Fantasy Design Cutouts to create final expressive composition
