1. Choose 12" by 15" White Paper2. Trace Egg Template lightly with pencil around the paper
3. Outline & Trace over egg template with Black Glue Bottle

Day Two, Art Start
1. Retrieve Ukrainian Faberge Egg for Assigned Table

3. Discussion Questions "Pysanka- egg decorated with designs using beeswax. How did pattern, texture, and color symbolism of Faberge Eggs influence the splendor and behavior of Imperial Russia? How does this change our perspective about the artwork before us?"
Lesson Activities
1. Add line variation (horizontal, vertical, diagonal) to create patterns within the egg template
2. Use black glue bottles to outline the patterns (swirls, dots, stripes) inside the decorated egg
3. Add embellishments (acrylic gems, rhinestones, crushed pebbles) to Ukrainian Faberge Eggs
Day Three, Art Start
1. Retrieve Ukrainian Faberge Egg for Assigned Table
2. Set Up Studio Area (oil pastels, jewels, glue bottles)
Lesson Activities
1. Add embellishments (acrylic gems, rhinestones, crushed pebbles) to decorated eggs
2. Use oil pastels to fill in the positive space of the decorated eggs
3. Use oil pastels to fill in the negative space of the Ukrainian Faberge Eggs
